MOSCOW, RUSSIA — Russia’s deputy minister of agriculture said on Aug. 30 the nation does not plan to impose any limitations on grain exports.
According to Ilya Shestakov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, grain prices have stabilized, so it is not necessary to impose any possible export limitations.
Shestakov said that the government may decide to start commodity interventions on the grain market only after determining whether there is a need for such measure in a particular region. A decision will not be made before early December.
