NGFA elects board, executive committee

WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. — The National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) announced on March 29 that its members elected 18 industry leaders to serve on its board of directors during the organization’s 116th annual convention this month.

Established in 1896, the NGFA consists of more than 1,000-member companies from all sectors of the grain elevator, feed and feed ingredient, integrated livestock and poultry, grain processing, biofuels and exporting business that operate about 7,000 facilities nationwide and handle more than 70 percent of all U.S. grains and oilseeds. 

Elected to three-year terms on the NGFA Board of Directors were:  Erik Anderson, president, Louis Dreyfus Commodities, Wilton, Connecticut, U.S.; David Baudler, president, Cargill Ag Horizons, Cargill Inc., Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.; Joann Brouillette, partner, Demeter LLP, Fowler, Indiana, U.S.; Joe Christopher, senior general manager, Crossroads Co-op, Sidney, Nebraska, U.S.; Irvin Clubine, general manager, United Farmers Co-op, George, Iowa, U.S.; Charles Colbert, export manager, Zen-noh Grain Corp., Mandeville, Louisiana, U.S.; Tom Coyle, general manager, Nidera U.S. LLC, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.; Larry Hammond, president, TruPointe Cooperative, Piqua, Ohio, U.S.; Chuck Heuring, merchandiser, Penny Newman Grain Co., Fresno, California, U.S.

Also elected to three-year terms on the NGFA Board were:  Robert Jones, senior vice-president, ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago LLC, Chicago, Ill.; Bill Krueger, chief executive officer, Lansing Trade Group, Overland Park, Kansas, U.S.; Art Loeffler, president, Star of the West Milling Co., Frankenmuth, Michigan, U.S.; Dan Mack, vice-president, transportation and terminal operations, CHS Inc., St. Paul, Minnesota, U.S.; Joe Taets, senior vice-president and president, Agricultural Services Business Unit, Archer Daniels Midland Co., Decatur, Ill.; Will Waters, principal and vice-president, Harris-Crane Inc., Charlotte, N.C.; and Don Woodburn, senior director of marketing, Ag Processing Inc., Omaha, Nebraska.
