Names released for two injured in Bartlett explosion

ATCHISON, KANSAS, U.S. — The names were released Nov. 1 for the two men who were injured in the Oct. 29 explosion at the Bartlett Grain Co. elevator in Atchison, Kansas, U.S.

The injured men were identified as Clinton Ellerman and Pat Maxwell, the Kansas City Star reported.

Ellerman remains in serious condition and Maxwell remains in critical condition, the newspaper said.

The explosion at the Bartlett Grain Co. elevator killed four Bartlett employees and two state grain inspectors. Four employees escaped unharmed.
