Edge to focus on special ingredients

HAMBURG, GERMANY — Markus Bostel and Thomas Schramm, each with more than 13 years of experience in the ingredients industry, have established Edge GmbH. The company, based in Hamburg, Germany, will focus on individual technical solutions and the supply of special ingredients for a modular system of flour treatment.

Edge noted that in recent years the number of wheat exporting countries has increased tremendously with the result of hardly understandable wheat qualities and wheat mixes. Edge said that its main focus would be to help the millers find an optimized flour treatment.
