OPI-integris names Justin Zinke new chief operating officer

CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA — Alberta-OPI-integris announced at the end of June the addition of new Chief Operating Officer Justin Zinke who will oversee the management of the company’s Canadian and international operations from its Calgary, Alberta, Canada, headquarters, as well as its U.S. operations, located in Overland Park, Kansas, U.S.

Zinke is tasked with developing and executing executive and operational strategies for OPI-integris, in addition to directing and overseeing the discharge of new products and technologies. Zinke will also use his extensive experience with software-as-a-service (SaaS), modeling and simulation and process control to implement new processes and infrastructures that will drive increased efficiencies and innovation.

OPI-integris Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dave Crompton said Zinke’s background and accomplishments make him an excellent addition to OPI-integris.

“The OPI-Integris team very much looks forward to having Justin on-board to share his operations management knowledge, skills and experience to help elevate OPI-integris to the next level,” he said.

Zinke is also enthusiastic about getting started.

Prior to joining OPI-integris, Zinke was the EVP of global business operations for Coreworx Inc. During his tenure he successfully implemented a process-based consultative selling system for scaling of the sales force to support rapid growth. Zinke also held the position of CEO/chief operating officer for Decision Dynamics Technology, Ltd. Under his leadership, the company was featured on Venture Magazine’s 2007 list of Alberta's 50 Fastest Growing Companies, ranking sixth for revenue growth.

Zinke’s 30 year career is punctuated by similar achievements with other world-leading technology and software solutions companies including Aspen Technology, Inc., Hyprotech, Ltd. and UOP.

After attending the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Zinke earned his bachelor’s of science degree in chemical engineering from Montana State University. He then went on to the University of Chicago where he achieved his master’s of business administration degree with high honors in marketing and finance. Zinke also participated in post-graduate courses in facilities and operations management at the College of Petroleum and Energy Studies in Oxford, U.K.
