MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA — AWB will pay its second distribution to barley growers in its 2009-10 season barley pools overnight on Aug. 18, the company announced on Aug. 18.

AWB General Manager Commodities Mitch Morison said the estimated pool returns (EPRs) for AWB’s 2009-10 barley pools were steady, with the sales program for this grain well advanced.

"Our barley sales and shipping program has developed from early right through to the middle of the year; we have been actively pricing barley into domestic and international markets and are well on track towards completing and finalizing the pool," Morison said.

AWB’s 2009-10 barley pool EPRs are F1 A$176 per tonne, F2 A$166 per tonne, BA1 A$269 per tonne, GA1 A$269 per tonne, BU1 A$259 per tonne, VL1 A$259 per tonne (EPRs are FOB, excl GST).
