KVANUM, SWEDEN — TORNUM AB has formed a strategic business relationship with one of the U.K.'s longest established grain dryer manufacturers, Allmet.

Allmet and Tornum will share expertise and resources for the U.K. market to focus on product research and development, while maintaining their autonomy.

"Tornum and Allmet know the grain drying business,” said TORNUM Managing Director Per Larsson. “Together we can play to our strengths to deliver the best service and best product for both the agricultural and industrial market."

"By working together our customers will benefit from improved technology, market leading products and new innovations,” said Allmet Director Charles White. “Building smart relationships has always made good business sense and TORNUM were an obvious choice as we share the same ethos of developing tailor made, customer driven solutions."

Both companies offer turnkey solutions for grain drying, handling and storage, from in-house design and consultancy through to manufacture, installation and aftercare.  The union between the Swedish and British businesses will not only allow a two-way exchange of knowledge and skills but also provide increased operational efficiencies.
