HONG KONG — The 5th annual The Rice Trader (TRT) World Rice Conference will be Nov. 19-21 at The Langham Place Hotel in Hong Kong. This conference offers two elements: a strong and in-depth analysis of global rice markets and a growing pool of attendees from around the world.
The event brings together experts in the business to speak about issues that affect the future trends in the rice industry, and covers topics that include the trade, price, the risks faced by the global rice and food industries, influencers and the most recent developments in rice research. All this forms the ultimate foundation of information that shall offer delegates a vision of markets in 2013-14. Delegates are also provided with networking opportunities such as the welcome reception, daily luncheons, coffee breaks, and a gala dinner that help foster business relationships by creating new doorways to support future business.
The TRT is a weekly publication that provides a strategic analysis of rice market movements. It offers seven different reports that cater to the various needs of all the members of the industry. The Rice Trader Inc. began hosting TRT Rice Americas Conferences in 2007 and started organizing TRT World Rice Conferences in 2009. Since then, it has gathered the top members of the rice industry and has tremendously grown, not only in attendance, but in prestige as well.
Last year’s TRT World Rice Conference in Bali, Indonesia had over 500 participants. The attendance for TRT World Rice Conference 2013 is expected to exceed this number.
