Omar Raymundo Gomez Flores takes leave of absence from Grupo Minsa

Omar Raymundo Gomez Flores recently announced he was taking a 120-day leave of absence as chairman of Grupo Minsa, S.A. de C.V., the second largest corn flour producer in Mexico. Mr. Gomez is campaigning for Senator from the state of Jalisco; elections will be held in July. Minsa owns six corn flour plants in Mexico, two in the U.S. and one in Guatemala.
