Mongolia to study grain storage and handling improvements

   Manila — The Asian Development Bank has approved a $400,000 technical assistance grant to prepare an agricultural processing, storage and distribution project in Mongolia. The grant will be financed by the Japan Special Fund. The Food and Agriculture Organization also will provide a $176,000 grant to meet part of the project's costs.

   The project will include study of possible grain storage, handling and processing subprojects, according to M. Jamilur Rahman, senior project engineer at the A.D.B.'s Agriculture Department.
