Codema, Inc.'s laboratory huller LH 5095 allows oat researchers, breeders, millers and merchandisers to de-hull laboratory-size samples of oats and barley for later analysis. The laboratory huller has been used in processing plants and universities throughout the world to check for heat and frost damage, mold, weathering, discoloration and odor. Operators can also use results from the LH 5095 to forecast yields, hulling efficiency and expected breakage during commercial processing operations. The LH 5095 hulls samples in as little as one minute, and its non-impact hulling minimizes breakage during operation. The huller is portable, weighing only 115 pounds (52 kg), and can be supplied with casters.
