500 tph Belt-o-matic donated to Texas A&M

The 500th Belt-o-matic dryer was recently manufactured by B.N.W. Industries in Tippecanoe and donated to Texas A&M University's Food Protein Research and Development Center.

B.N.W. made its first Belt-o-matic in 1972. At that time, the company had three employees, one dryer model, and two options. Today, the company makes over 50 dryer models and various options to fit a variety of applications.

Steve Gregory, head of industrial services at Texas A&M's Food Protein Research center, said the new Belt-o-matic replaces an older model and is used in a range of applications. "It has successfully dried food, feed, pharmaceutical, neutra-ceutical, and other products," Gregory said.
